We want trials like there were in Nuremberg – that bring people to account for their roles in the atrocities. Everyone must have access to a lawyer and a fair trial. It is important to tell the truth, not only for the victims to have closure but also so the wounds of our society can be healed, and we can move on.

The international demands reach even further. There’s a clarion call to kick out ambassadors and anyone associated with the regime.
