Senators are seeking open lines of communications with Malacanang for expeditious passage legislative measures and avert their being vetoed.
Majority Leader Joel Villanueva had this to say as senators either become elated or dejected by the bills passed during the Duterte administration by way of being vetoed or allowed to lapse into law.
‘’I myself yong Virology , development ng digital careers, mayroon din nag-synch na , there will be additional initiatives,’’ he said.He called this “a welcome development’’ because senators do not know the fate of their bill when they are passed by the Senate and the House of Representatives and sent to the President for approval or veto.
Villanueva also said that the appointment of House Secretary-General Mark Leandro Mendoza, a former Batangas congressman, as head of the Presidential Legislative Liaison Office , was ‘’very acceptable” to the members of the Senate and the House of Representatives.
