PRESIDENT Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. had a slip of the tongue on Wednesday, calling his wife, Marie Louise 'Liza' Araneta-Marcos as 'First Lady Imelda'.The Chief Executive's slip-up happened while delivering his pre-departure speech at the Villamor Air Base in Pasay City, as he was acknowledging the presence of key government officials present at his send-off for his five-day official visit to Japan.
In his five-day official visit, Marcos hopes to ink agreements with Japan that could boost trade and security ties between Manila and Tokyo.Part of Marcos' itinerary for his February 8 to 12 trip to the East Asian country include a meeting with Prime Minister Fumio Nishida, an audience with Emperor Naruhito, talks with Japanese business groups, and a dialogue with the Filipino community.
