Online English teaching company ACADSOC has announced it will open over 10,000 jobs in the Philippines.
In a press statement, ACADSOC Chief Operating Officer Johnny Zhang said all of these jobs are for home-based online English as a second language teachers.
Executives of the China-based company added that $1 million would be used for a referral program next year. "ACADSOC executives do not only aim to provide more jobs for Filipinos but also to bridge the gap between two nations: China and the Philippines," the statement read. Tutors can earn between ₱30,000 and ₱60,000 per month giving one-on-one English lessons to Chinese students over the internet.
