Who would have thought that the songs you only hear online, especially on TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook, would come to life?
“We know that Filipinos are high-energy people and that you all like to have a lot of fun. We want to keep the set high-energy and make it an absolute blast,” lead singer Rafaele “Crash” Massarelli told Soundstrip during the press conference hours before their live performance at the Trinoma Activity Center on August 17, 2024.
The highlight of the evening came when Crash Adams surprised the audience by inviting Lola Amour on stage to perform their new song “8 Days” and the Filipino band’s hit “Fallen.” The duo wrapped up their show with their viral hit “Give Me a Kiss,” leaving the crowd energized.The duo started making music together in 2020, but their big break came when they began sharing TikTok videos featuring a red couch from Crash’s grandmother and the song “Caroline,” which has over 49 million views.
He added that they are always focused on the next step, not in terms of numbers, but in finding ways to expand their platform to inspire more people.“Recognition is nice, but we don’t need the recognition because we got the people and that’s all we are about,” Adams said.
