One Cebu endorses Bongbong Marcos; Rep. PJ Garcia steps down as secretary general
THREE weeks before the May 9, 2022 elections, One Cebu Party announced its endorsement of the presidential bid of former senator Ferdinand"Bongbong" Marcos Jr. of Partido Reporma.
Meanwhile, Deputy Speaker and Cebu Rep. Pablo John"PJ" Garcia decided to step down from One Cebu as secretary-general to avoid a"conflict of interest."Garcia, the younger brother of One Cebu leader and Gov. Garcia, said he is supporting the candidacy of Manila Mayor Francisco"Isko Moreno" Domagoso for president this coming May.
He, however, assured One Cebu that he respects"its decision, just as I hope that the party I helped found, and have only the deepest affection for, would respect my choice and direction."
