Global automotive giant OMODA & JAECOO officially opened its doors to the Philippine market last February 18 at the BGC Arts Center, electrifying the local auto scene with the unveiling of its first models: the OMODA C5, OMODA E5, and JAECOO EJ6.
“The Philippines is the fifth Southeast Asian market to welcome OMODA & JAECOO, and we couldn’t be more thrilled,” said a representative from OMODA & JAECOO Motor Philippines, Inc. “Since entering the market in 2023, we’ve seen a strong demand for vehicles that combine sleek style with smart technology. Now, Filipino drivers can finally experience our models, designed for both city streets and adventure trails.
JAECOO focuses on the future of off-road EVs. The JAECOO EJ6, an all-electric SUV, is built for adventure, conquering diverse terrains. Pricing for the EJ6 was also revealed:JAECOO also teased its upcoming hybrid SUV, the J7 SHS, featuring a Super Hybrid System for extended range and reduced emissions.
The launch event showcased more than just vehicles; it presented a lifestyle. The cars were displayed like high fashion, emphasizing their appeal to modern Filipino drivers. A camping activation highlighted the EJ6’s off-road prowess, and a light show powered by the EJ6 demonstrated the vehicles’ capabilities.
