In a statement on his Facebook page, Treñas said the Omicron case was a returning male overseas Filipino worker from Kenya, aged 46. He was reported to have tested positive for COVID-19 last December 27, 2021.Citing reports, Treñas said the OFW underwent hotel quarantine and was set to disembark in Kenya on December 12. He tested negative for COVID-19 based on the RT-PCR test conducted two days later on December 14.
