Watch also in iWant or TFC.tv Thousands of repatriated OFWs can now leave quarantine centers with certificates of completion that they can print themselves instead of waiting for paper documents from authorities, the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration said Friday.

Similar to an electronic ticket, the new scheme will allow OFWs to skip the wait for a certificate from the Bureau of Quarantine, said OWWA Administrator Hans Leo Cacdac. The Philippines has repatriated about 42,000 migrant workers and is expecting around 45,000 other OFWs to come home until June, he said.
