PERSONAL remittances from overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) hit $3.21 billion in June, the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) reported late Thursday, 2.5 percent higher compared to the year-earlier $3.13 billion.
PERSONAL remittances from overseas Filipino workers hit $3.21 billion in June , the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas reported late Thursday, 2.5 percent higher compared to the year-earlier $3.13 billion.The amount was also higher by 11.3 percent than the $2.88 billion posted a month earlier, preliminary central bank data showed.This is the highest recorded amount of monthly personal remittances since December last year at $3.63 billion.
