MANILA, Philippines – Ateneo arrested its slump in the UAAP Season 84 women’s volleyball with a 25-16, 25-14, 25-14 win over FEU at the Mall of Asia Arena on Thursday, May 12.
The Lady Tamaraws kept it close midway through the third set, 11-13, before they fell apart the rest of the way as the Blue Eagles rode on a win-clinching 12-3 run. “We have to do good every game because the season is still long, so we will keep on improving,” said Blue Eagles head coach Oliver Almadro.
Dropping 20 points in their five-set win over UE two days ago, Chen Tagaod topscored for the Lady Tamaraws again with 10 points.
