TYPHOON “Odette” has maintained its strength as it moved westward toward Caraga-Eastern Visayas, said the state weather bureau Wednesday evening, December 15.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal Number 2 has been hoisted over the central and southern portions of Eastern Samar , the central and southern portions of Samar , Biliran , Leyte, Southern Leyte, the northern and central portions of Cebu , and Bohol in the Visayas.
On Thursday early morning through Friday early morning, heavy to intense with at times torrential rains will be experienced over Dinagat Islands, Surigao del Norte, the northern portion of Surigao del Sur, Agusan del Norte, the northern portion of Agusan del Sur, Camiguin, Misamis Oriental, Southern Leyte, Bohol, Cebu, Siquijor, Negros Oriental, and Negros Occidental.
