OCD raises highest response protocol in areas expected to be hit by TD Amang

The Office of Civil Defense has raised the highest “Emergency Preparedness and Response” protocols in Calabarzon, Bicol Region and Eastern Visayas due to the effects of Tropical Depression AmangPH. | zacariansINQ

According to the OCD, the EPR is categorized into four categories: “Charlie” which refers to high risk protocol, “Bravo” for moderate risk, “Alpha” for low risk, and “Standby” for none to very low risk.The Charlie protocol includes activating emergency operations centers to red alert, class and work suspension, forced evacuations, and advanced augmentation of resources.

In an incident report, the OCD said that EPR “Charlie” is currently imposed in Calabarzon, Bicol Region and Eastern Visayas.
