Authorities are investigating if the freshman nursing student died by suicide.
A 19-YEAR-OLD nursing student died after he reportedly jumped from the 10th floor of a university building in Mandaue City on Monday morning, October 17, 2022.
SunStar tried to contact UCLM for a statement on the incident but received no reply as of Monday afternoon. Based on the closed circuit television footage obtained by the police at the ninth floor, the victim reportedly went to the 10th floor where he allegedly jumped off the building around 9 a.m. He reportedly went back to their classroom during their class around 8:30 a.m., but his classmates said they did not notice him leaving the room again.
