Unlike other tuners, it actually looks good
By Novitec’s lofty standards, its take on the Ferrari Roma is… fairly quiet. There are no outlandish canards or 59—mile—long spoilers, but don’t be fooled: the subtle looks are still paired with an extremely capable powertrain.
The Bavarian tuner has upped the output of the twin-turbo V8 to 714hp and 882Nm—an increase of 83 for the former and 122 for the latter. That’s also trimmed the run to 100kph down to 3.2sec and nudged the top speed beyond 200. Impressive stuff for a car billed as a sporty grand tourer.Mechanically, there’s very little else that’s been changed, but Novitec has mentioned that a newly sprung suspension setup is in place to drop the car by 35mm.
There's also a small body kit present that’s fairly well hidden beneath the black/gold color scheme. It includes a new front lip to reduce lift at high speed , a revised front grille and new wing mirrors and rocker panels.Likewise, the rear has also seen new trim elements slotted above the quad taillights, while a revamped diffuser has been thrown into the mix to provide some company for the equally new exhaust tips. All this, if you hadn’t already guessed, has been made from carbon.
No word on pricing just yet for Novitec’s conversion, but you will need to cough up at least £210k for a Roma Spider to begin with.PHOTO BY NovitecSee Also Read Next The California-inspired Spectre Semaphore is Rolls-Royce’s latest one-off View other articles about:
