DAR said on Thursday that the farm tractor, complete with a disc plow, disc harrow, and trailer, is worth P2,675,000. The farm tractor is expected to help increase farm productivity and the net income of farmers. The tractor was given to farmers through Alamada Multi-Purpose Cooperative in Alamada, North Cotabato. The AMPC is a “big brother” to other agrarian reform beneficiary organizations in the area.

“We also assure you that we will maintain and sustain the operation of the farm machine because we already have assigned personnel who will look into the farm and trucking services of the cooperative,” AMPC Chairperson Fe Odrunia said.
