MANILA, Philippines — Nagningning si Mark Nonoy ng La Salle sa skill test ng PBA Draft Combine kung saan sinusukat ang kalibre ng lahat ng aplikante bago ang mismong PBA Rookie Draft sa Linggo sa Glorrieta Makati.
Dahil dito ay inaasahang tataas ang draft stock ng pambatong guard, na sinimulan ang karera sa UST bago mag-kampeon sa La Salle sa UAAP Season 86, bagama’t projected na siyang maging 1st round pick. Kabuuang 70 ang aplikanteng rookies ng PBA Draft at 62 ang nakadalo sa draft combine sa pangunguna ng projected No.1 pick na si Justine Baltazar ng Pampanga Giant Lanterns na siya ring pinakamatangkad sa draft class sa taas na 6-foot-6 5/7 inches.
Hindi nakadalo ang iba pang prized prospects na sina Sedrick Barefield, Evan Nelle at Ben Phillips ng La Salle subalit inaasahan sila sa mismong draft.
