Deadline to get your nominations in is Feb. 28
The annual event seeks to honour individuals, organizations or groups in the Sudbury riding “whose excellence exemplifies our community's selflessness, tenacity, and commitment.”
“The annual Good Neighbours Awards reminds us to 'look for the good' that surrounds us,” West said in a news release. “It's an opportunity to formally acknowledge the individuals, organizations, and groups who selflessly make a positive impact in our community. “It's important to celebrate big and small victories. If you know an individual, organization, or group whose excellence exemplifies our community's selflessness, tenacity, and commitment, please nominate them today."Nominees could be an outstanding community volunteer or volunteers, an individual or group that helps those in need, or an individual or group that works to improve the community, to name a few examples.
Ineligible for nomination are political figures or elected officials or groups or individuals outside the provincial riding of Sudbury. You can also not nominate yourself.
