President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has strongly warned the Philippine National Police that there would be no room for police officers
He also assured the PNP of his administration’s continued support for its plans and programs aimed at improving the capabilities of its personnel.
“As you perform your duties in securing our people, you and your families can rest assured of the government’s full support of your welfare and overall well-being.” He called on the promoted PNP officers to uphold the highest standards of ethics, professionalism, and compassion for human rights. Mr. Marcos challenged the new generals to be “agents of positive change” to attain his administration’s goal of transforming the country into a new Philippines.
