Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews’ office has not replied to imprisoned Australian journalist Cheng Lei’s partner as the Premier visits China, says Sky News Victorian Political Reporter Simon Love.
“Her partner’s been trying to get onto the Premier’s office essentially to make representation given Cheng Lei’s a Victorian,” Mr Love told Sky News host Sharri Markson.
“The Premier’s office hasn’t quite gone back to the partner for a reply or at least said, ‘okay Daniel Andrews will raise this’.”
