Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews seems to be “in a rush” to be the first Australian premier to “get back” to Beijing, according to Strategic Analysis Australia’s Director Michael Shoebridge.
Mr Andrews is facing heat over his decision to travel to China, with critics questioning the secrecy of his seventh trip to Beijing.
“And unfortunately, meetings like this one with this ‘united front’ outfit perpetuate the image that Dan Andrews is an uncritical partner of the national government in Beijing,” Mr Shoebridge told Sky News host Peta Credlin.
