Police have ruled out homicide and physical injury complaints against the teacher who allegedly slapped a Grade 5 student in Antipolo City, citing the results of the autopsy which showed that the boy died of natural causes.
A complaint for violation of Section 10 of Republic Act 7610 or the Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act will instead be filed against the suspect, police said.
The boy had arteriovenous malformation, a rare condition wherein vessels are unusually tangled and causes problems with arteries and veins, autopsy showed. The boy’s mother, Elena Minggoy, refused to accept the Forensic Group’s findings, insisting that the slapping triggered the conditions leading to her son’s death.LIST: Catch up with your best bud this month with these super buy 1 get 1 dealsYour walkthrough to achieving stunning portraits with vivo V29 5G’s Aura Light 2.0A fresh start for 7th year of SM’s #SuperKidsDay festivities this October
