The Metro Manila Development Authority agreed with Bela Padilla’s concern, saying “safety is everyone’s responsibility”
MANILA — The Metro Manila Development Authority said it has “no excuse” in response to a viral tweet from actress Bela Padilla showing the agency’s workers “exposed to harm.”
The “Sino Ang May Sala” star shared the photo of MMDA workers on the back of a truck, with only umbrellas to shield them from the heat while in transit. The government agency, through EDSA traffic head Bong Nebrija, agreed with Padilla’s concern, saying “safety is everyone’s responsibility.”
