Her children watched their father laid to rest from their cellphones. She said the funeral’s video stream, recorded by a surviving family member, panned to reveal a sea of other freshly dug graves. “As much as I wanted to cook for my children, I don’t want to have to go to the grocery store, to show my face and feel obligated to tell my story and get upset.”
