Nationals Senator Bridget McKenzie says the coal cap pricing by Energy Minister Chris Bowen is a “monumental failure” with no downward pressure plans for “crippling” energy prices.
“They told us they had a plan to deal with this; it is clear that they didn’t,” Ms McKenzie told Sky News host Peta Credlin.
“To dress up this meeting as somehow investing $10 billion of Australian taxpayers’ money in renewables is somehow going to put downward pressure on energy prices.
