A newborn baby was found inside an eco bag left by the side of a hotel in Malabon . The man who left the eco bag even talked to the vendor who first found the baby. According to Raffy Tima's report on GMA News 'Unang Balita' on Wednesday, the baby's umbilical cord was still attached when found. According to the vendor, known only as 'Kikay,' who first found the baby, there was a napkin covering the baby while inside the eco bag. When she removed the napkin, the baby, described as healthy, cried.
However, before that, a man had called her attention and pointed to the eco bag with the baby. Kikay noticed that the man had blood on his foot but he denied any involvement with the eco bag. 'I said, maybe this is yours. He said, 'no.' He just said he was a peddler. I called the barangay. When the barangay officials arrived, the man disappeared,' said Kikay. According to the police, upon reviewing the CCTV camera in the area, it turned out that the man pointed by Kikay was the one who left the eco bag with the baby.
