CEBU CITY — Another tourist rest area is set to open here, this time funded by the provincial government instead of the Department of Tourism .Pinamungajan town in west Cebu will host Cebu 's first Capitol-funded TRA, with a grand opening scheduled for December. This investment of P7 million to P8 million aims to enhance tourism services and improve convenience for travelers exploring the province's scenic destinations.Located in Barangay Pandacan, the rest area will cover 1,332.
These rest areas offer similar amenities to enhance the travel experience, reinforcing Cebu's status as a prime destination in the Philippines.According to a report by Sugbo News, to manage the restroom facilities of the TRA in Pinamungajan, the Capitol partnered with Mister Loo Philippines , known for upgrading restroom services at Cebu City's Capitol-run bus terminals.
