Pasig City government officials inaugurated and blessed on Friday, July 7, the Caniogan Health Center in Barangay Caniogan, which Mayor Vico Sotto said was the “the first health center in Pasig that truly followed the standard of the DOH.” ManilaBulletin
The three-story building houses numerous laboratories and rooms that are spacious enough for health workers to conduct medical services.The Caniogan Health Center was established through the collaboration of the City Health Department and the Engineering Department .
The mayor noted that, in all infrastructure projects for the health department across the city’s 30 barangays, the local government is aiming to also make them compliant to the DOH’s standards.must be able to “provide medical consultations and other minor surgical services within their premises, and shall not be allowed to outsource these services.”
