One of Australia’s most iconic ad campaigns has included surprising twist in this year's version.
This year’s edition of the iconic summer ad, which was launched on Friday, imagines an alternate reality where people called out as being ‘un-Australian’ are banished to an “infinite cultural exile”.

Offer ends 31 October, 2023 Not knowing the words to pub classic Khe Sanh, dobbing, drinking kombucha, switching off the Test cricket and eating a meat pie with cutlery are all cultural crimes in the ad’s alternate Australia. “It’s getting a little out of hand, there’ll be no-one left soon,” a bartender tells a patron in the three-minute clip, before quickly being banished herself.
