Col. Ronaldo Palomo has been appointed as the new Iloilo Police Provincial Office commander.
ILOILO CITY – Palomo replaced Col. Noel Aliño in a ceremony presided over by Brig. Gen. Leo Francisco, Police Regional Office -6 chief.
In his assumption speech, Palomo vowed to enhance the police intervention and legal operations against all forms of illegal activities – illegal drugs, illegal gambling, illegal fishing, and mining – as ordered by Gov. Arthur Defensor Jr. during an earlier meeting. Palomo said there will be no reshuffling of police commanders in the 42 towns and the component city of Passi for now.Prior to his appointment, Palomo was assigned to the headquarters of the Philippine National Police in Camp Crame, Quezon City with the National Personnel Holding and Accounting Unit.
