Leading the way in the list are World Cup team members Kiefer Ravena, Scottie Thompson, Roger Pogoy, June Mar Fajardo, JR Perez, Japeth Aguilar and Jamie Malonzo. According to POC president Rep. Abraham “Bambol” Tolentino, both Brownlee and Kouame are eligible to play in the continental tiff as the organizing committee only requires a passport to join the national team.
“The deadline for the Entry by Names [EBN]was last July 25 and whatever list a national Olympic committee submitted is deemed official,” Tolentino said.
