FOR the fifth straight day, the new coronavirus disease cases reported by the Department of Health stood within the 2,000 range.
In its 4 p.m. Friday, February 18, bulletin, the DOH said 2,232 new Covid-19 cases were recorded, bringing the total case count in the Philippines to 3,648,925.The DOH also reported 79 additional deaths that raised the total number of patients who succumbed to the disease to 55,409.The health department also reported 3,010 additional recoveries that raised the total number of Covid-19 survivors to 3,527,720. This means a recovery rate of 96.7 percent.
