LESS than 500 new coronavirus disease cases were again reported by the Department of Health Friday, December 10, along with 25 additional deaths.
The health department said there were 379 new Covid-19 cases, which brought the country’s total caseload to 2,836,200.Twenty-five new deaths were also added to the tally, raising the death toll to 49,961.The DOH also logged 631 new recoveries.This means that 97.8 percent of the Covid-19 patients were able to recover, said the health department.
Less the deaths and recoveries, the DOH said there are still 11,905 active cases, which account for 0.4 percent of the confirmed infections in the Philippines. Of the active cases, 4,860 were mild cases, 3,797 were moderate, 2,060 were severe, 757 were asymptomatic cases, and 431 were critical.
