Co-created by Mindy Kaling and Lang Fisher, the hit TV show will star Maitreyi Ramakrishnan again, who plays lead high school student Devi Vishwakumar. The rest of the cast – Poorna Jagannathan, Richa Moorjani, Jaren Lewison, Darren Barnet, Lee Rodriguez and Ramona Young – will also be reprising their roles.will still be the show’s executive producer alongside Lang Fisher, who is also its showrunner and writer.revolves around the growing pains of short-tempered, over-achieving, first-generation Indian American 15-year-old Devi as she navigates the complicated adventures of high school.
