BACOLOD CITY – The provincial government of Negros Occidental has awarded P677,000 to Palarong Pambansa medalists from the province.
GOV. Eugenio Jose Lacson meets Palaro medalists at the provincial capitol in Bacolod City during the turnover of cash incentives amounting to P677,000 on Thursday, August 24.
Western Visayas finished second overall behind National Capital Region . Negrense athletes bagged 106 gold, 31 silver, and 54 bronze medals.Trackster Mico Villaran of the Romanito P. Maravilla Sr. National High School here received an additional P5,000 for being the most bemedaled athlete. He bagged four golds and a silver medal.
