THE National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) Board approved the implementation of the Ilocos Norte-Ilocos Sur-Abra Irrigation Project (Inisaip) and the Accelerated Bridge Construction Project for Greater Economic Mobility and Calamity Response (ABC Project), Malacañang announced on Wednesday.
THE National Economic and Development Authority Board approved the implementation of the Ilocos Norte- Ilocos Sur-Abra Irrigation Project and the Accelerated Bridge Construction Project for Greater Economic Mobility and Calamity Response , Malacañang announced on Wednesday.Chaired by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., the body gave the green light to the said projects during the 23rd NEDA Board meeting held in Malacañang on Tuesday.The Chief Executive expressed his desire for the P37.
'It's not just the costing that must be included. We can't construct that and then just incorporate the hydroelectric afterward. From the very start, once the dam is finished, it's already there,' he stated.The locally financed project involves the construction of an earth and rock-fill dam; Nueva Era afterbay dam; and link canals, which will provide irrigation water to several NIA systems.
