The provinces on the expected path of tropical depression “Crising” must brace for heavy rains ahead of the weekend, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council said Thursday, May 13.
“Areas of Surigao del Sur, Agusan del Sur, Davao Oriental, Davao de Oro, and Davao del Norte will experience moderate to heavy rains today and tomorrow morning due to TD Crising, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said,” read the advisory from the NDRRMC.
The council prodded the local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management councils, local government units , and residents of these areas to make the necessary precautions.
