Based on its 8 a.m. situational report, NDRRMC said that the weather conditions affected 608,979 locals and 172,293 families in Regions 1 , 2 , 3 , Mimaropa , Calabarzon and Region 6 .The agency likewise reported that displaced locals were at 17,666. The 11,053 took shelter in evacuation centers while the other 6,623 were outside ECs or took refuge elsewhere.
NDRRMC’s report also showed 14 died, 13 injured, and 20 are still missing. Six of the deaths are confirmed while eight are currently up for validation.
