Six people reportedly died while two others remain missing in the aftermath of Tropical Cyclone Ferdie and the enhanced Southwest Monsoon , the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council said Sunday.Based on NDRRMC ’s latest situational report, four of the reported fatalities—which were still subject to validation—came from the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao . Two others were recorded in Zamboanga Peninsula .

Of them, 13,825 remained inside evacuation centers, while 22,801 were seeking temporary shelters elsewhere.Ferdie and the Habagat also caused P200,000-worth of damage to infrastructure in some areas.They also left total damage to 12 houses, and partially damaged 85 more. There were 17 roads and three bridges that are also still not passable as of this time.Power interruptions and disruption of some flights and seaport trips were also reported in some regions.
