Inanunsyo ng Department of Labor and Employment ngayong Lunes na aprubado na ng NCR Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board ang naturang taas-sahod sa Wage Order No. 26. Dahil ditto, mula sa kasalukuyang P645, magiging P695 na ang daily minimum wage rate sa para sa non-agriculture sector. Habang magiging P658 mula sa kasalukuyang P608 ang daily minimum wage rate para sa agriculture sector, service, at retail establishments na may empleyado na hindi bababa sa 15, at sa manufacturing establishments na may regular na bilang ng mga kawani na hindi hihigit sa 10 manggagawa.
Sa bagong wage hike, ang magiging buwanang sahod ng non-agriculture worker ay tinatayang nasa P15,247 hanggang P18,216 para sa isang five-day at six-day workweek, ayon sa pagkakasunod, kasama ang mandatory social welfare benefits gaya ng 13th month pay, service incentive leave, SSS, PhilHealth at Pag-IBIG.
