THE National Bureau of Investigation has completed its probe on the kill remarks issued by Vice President Sara Duterte against President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., his wife First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos and House Speaker Martin Romualdez.In a press briefing, Prosecutor General Richard Fadullon said the result of the probe will still have to undergo further reevaluation.
“Depending on the outcome, we will be able to make a recommendation whether to have it considered filed already before the department and/or to return it to the NBI if there's a need to build up the case further and add to the evidence that they have,” he added.Justice Undersecretary Raul Vasquez said the Department of Justice will conduct further case build-up to confirm that there is enough evidence that would warrant a preliminary investigation on the matter.
