Better get your Air Jordans on: tickets have gone on sale for a show of basketball memorabilia making its Australian debut in Brisbane in November.
Jerseys, balls and sneakers autographed by some of the biggest names in basketball are part of an international touring exhibition of NBA memorabilia showing in Brisbane from November 9.
, which also has interactive games and digital projections, will take over two levels and 1000 square metres of Queens Plaza.features a vast collection of authenticated and autographed memorabilia as well as interactive games and skill-testers.The 20 themed sections in the show include a trophy wall and a room of hand and shoe prints of top players.
As a bonus, visitors during the first weekend will be able to see the Larry O’Brien Championship Trophy, the NBA’s top prize, currently owned by the Denver Nuggets.The Art of Banksy: Without Limits“We’re the first company licensed to make an authentic NBA exhibition,” said Selen Tamer Lakay, managing director of Muse.
“We have autographed jerseys of elite NBA players, past and present, including Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Shaquille O’Neal, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Stephen Curry and many more,” she said.AdvertisementOther highlights include an original leather basketball from the 1940s and one of Shaquille O’Neal’s size 22 basketball shoes.“I could not believe it when I first got it into my hands,” Lakay said.
