National Police Commission commissioner Edilberto Leonardo has resigned from his post after he was earlier cited in contempt by the House Quad Committee for allegedly lying."I was able to read a letter that his resignation had been accepted. I will be getting the official notice maybe by Monday," said NAPOLCOM vice chairperson Alberto Bernardo on Friday during the continuation of the QuadComm's hearing.
"I convened the remaining commissioners and I was asking if we would be reporting to the Office of the President, through the SILG , that we are supposed to conduct of administrative investigation," he said."I was asking my colleagues, I was outvoted that they suggested to wait for developments. But personally I would like to file administrative case.
