“To enable diverted flights to arrive in NAIA and support the quick recovery of regular flight operations, the MIAA has suspended the routine maintenance closure for NAIA’s main runway, 06/24,” the agency said in an advisory.According to MIAA, affected airlines have already filed their respective flight recovery plans amid the anticipated improved weather.
“Passengers are encouraged to monitor airline and MIAA websites and social media accounts for updates,” it added.
