Homicide detectives have "a number of lines of investigation," NSW Police said today.
"We don't believe this is a random act and potentially that the victim and somebody else are known to each other," Acting Supt John Nelson from Nepean Police Area Command, said."She's returned to the location in the early hours of the morning and at some point between then and 2.30pm something has happened to this poor young lady."He said they're investigating how the woman met her killer, and if it could have been online.
