The Muntinlupa City government will deploy vehicles next week to help commuters who will be affected by the planned nationwide transport strike from March 6 to 12.

Mayor Ruffy Biazon convened a meeting with the Muntinlupa Traffic Management Bureau, Muntinlupa police, Public Order and Safety Office , and City Security Office to prepare for the strike.

The Manibela transport group will go on strike to oppose the government’s PUV Modernization Program. Biazon said the city government will deploy vehicles including flexi trucks, buses, e-jeeps and police cars for the “Libreng Sakay” that will carry passengers from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. from March 6 to 12. – RMT to Alabang Viaduct and vice versa – South Station to Buencamino and vice versa
