The Commission on Audit (COA) has raised concerns over the provincial government of Mountain Province for awarding two irrigation projects to a construction firm that was blacklisted. The COA stated that a thorough post-qualification check should have been conducted to avoid such incidents.

MANILA, Philippines — The Commission on Audit has flagged the provincial government of Mountain Province for awarding two irrigation projects to a blacklisted construction firm .

COA records show that the provincial government received P10.157 million from the DA for the implementation of the irrigation projects.
