According to the CAMPI-TMA report, a total of 30,905 units were sold in February or 4.8 percent increase from 29,499 units in the previous month. The February sales performance was higher by 27.2 percent than the 24,304 units sold in February 2022. CAMPI President Atty. Rommel Gutierrez cited the growth performance as a “clear indicator of a continuously progressing auto industry’ from the course of the pandemic.”
Total industry volume forecast for 2023 is 408,300 units, including other exclusive members of AVID and MG Motors Phils. . This is 10.4 percent higher than the actual TIV sales of 369,981 units in 2022.
