Several Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Boards (RTWPBs) are set to issue wage orders for domestic workers in early 2025, following the trend of previous increases granted by other boards.
SEVEN Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Boards (RTWPBs) are still expected to issue their respective wage orders in the early part of 2025. In a social media post, the National Wages and Productivity Commission ( NWPC ) bared that there are three regions that have ongoing minimum wage determination process for domestic workers . These are the regional wage boards of Calabarzon, Zamboanga Peninsula, and Soccsksargen.
Four other RTWPBs are expected to commence with their own minimum wage determination process for domestic workers during the first quarter of 2025. The NWPC said these include Central Luzon (January) and Davao Region (January), Bicol Region (February), and Central Visayas (March). The NWPC also said that a total of nine regional wage boards have already issued their respective wage orders for kasambahay. This came after they granted wage increases for domestic workers ranging from P500 to P1,000. These regions are the National Capital Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Ilocos, Cagayan Valley, Mimaropa, Western Visayas, Eastern Visayas, Northern Mindanao, and Caraga.
