The Philippine Army has recruited a total of 712 individuals who will undergo the Candidate Soldier Course training at the Training and Doctrine Command , located at Camp O’Donnell in Capas, Tarlac.
Philippine Army Spokesperson Colonel Louie Dema-ala stated that these individuals are part of Class 792-2024, which has just commenced its four-month Basic Military Training .“The Philippine Army needs soldiers who will stay true to our mandate and serve our country,” said Initial Military Training Center Commander Col. Enriqueto R. Deocadez Jr., who served as the guest of honor and speaker at an event.
He challenged the new recruits to strive to complete the rigorous BMT by persevering and being obedient. The new recruits will undergo a 16-week training program designed to transform them into physically and mentally competent, confident, and capable defenders. They will participate in a progressive, comprehensive, and balanced training regimen that encourages them to embrace the Army’s core values of honor, patriotism, and duty.
